Long Description

ALIS is building an open-source survival world on Unreal Engine 5 from real places, beginning with a reconstructed post-apocalyptic city location. The current public build is an in-development single-player prototype people can run, verify, and inspect. The codebase is organized into modular plugin tiers and concrete systems: server-authoritative inventory, vitals simulation, data-driven dialogue, Mind thought guidance, interaction tracing, object capabilities, typed settings, and a six-phase loading pipeline. Reuse terms are assigned by component in the public license policy. Packaged releases are signed and publicly verifiable. A dedicated-server target is checked into the public source and build commands are documented; current evidence does not establish a tested, supported public server package or working multiplayer hosting path. The pact keeps ALIS checkable, non-extractive, and respectful of contributors, with continuity anchored in source, signatures, and stewardship rather than a single operator.
